1) Organiser of the competition
The organizer of the competition is BioVendor - Laboratorní medicína a.s., VAT CZ63471507, Karásek 1767/1, 621 00 Brno Czech Republic (hereinafter referred to as "Organizer").
2) Introductory Provisions
The following rules constitute the statute, which is the only binding document regulating the conditions of the announced competition.
3) Participation in the competition
The competition is open only to natural persons over 18 years of age who comply with the rules of the competition (hereinafter referred to as the "Contestant"). Participation in the competition is not subject to a fee or the purchase of a product of the Organizer. Each contestant may enter the competition only once.
Participation in the competition is subject to acceptance of and compliance with these rules.
Consent to the processing of personal data is required to enter the competition.
Participation in the competition is subject to the complete and truthful completion and submission of the form available at this address https://forms.office.com/e/EUipUBqnp2, including the name, surname, and email address of the entrant. Questionnaires without a completed name, surname, and email address will not be entered into the prize draw.
4) Date and location of the competition
The Contest will take place at the European Human Genetics Conference 2024 at the Messe Berlin, CityCube, Berlin, Germany at the Organizer's booth #420 from June 1 - 3, 2024.
5) Competition rules
The competition is open to anyone who meets the conditions on the date of the competition, i.e. fills in the form in paragraph 3 of this document and makes 1 to 5 throws on the throwing dummy with marked targets.
6) Winner of the competition
The winners will be determined by a draw which will take place on 3 June 2024 between 10 am and 10:30 am at the Organizer’s stand. Winners will be notified of their prize if they participate in the draw on-site or via email communication within 14 calendar days of the date of the draw. Each Contestant can only win once. The results of the competition are final, with no possibility of appeal.
7) Prizes and delivery of prizes
a) The competition includes 3 x gift packs with promotional items bearing the logo of the Organizer.
b) If the Winner does not claim the prize in person on-site at the time of the draw, they will be contacted within 14 calendar days of the draw via the email address provided and asked to provide delivery details for the purpose of sending the prize.
c) If the winner does not respond to contact from the Organizer within 7 calendar days, the prize will be forfeited without compensation to the Organizer. The prize will also be forfeited to the Organizer if the identity of the winner is not sufficiently proven or if the winner is found to have breached the competition rules at any time prior to the delivery of the prize.
8) Change of competition status and termination
The Organizer has the right to terminate, extend, shorten, interrupt, or change the Competition at any time, including during the Competition.
9) Personal data
a) Participation in the competition is possible only if the Contestant agrees to the processing of personal data. Failure to provide personal data will result in the inability to receive the prize. If the winner does not provide the Organizer with personal data to deliver the prize, he/she will not be entered into the final draw.
b) The personal data controller and processor is the Organiser.
c) The Contestant further agrees that the Organizer is entitled to use the contact details provided (e.g. email address) for sending commercial offers and communications regarding the Organizer's products, services, competitions, and other offers. These contact details will be stored for 5 years, and Contestants have the right to withdraw this consent at any time by contacting the Organizer directly.
