Under the TestLine brand, we launch Microblot Array ANA 44 – the most comprehensive kit for testing autoimmune disorders.

2015: Oxford BioSystems acquired by the BioVendor Group
2015

Acquisition of Oxford BioSystems

The third acquisition is Oxford BioSystems, a leading distributor of IVD and laboratory research products in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Acquisition of ViennaLab Diagnostics

The Group is strengthened by the company ViennaLab Diagnostics Gmbh, which brings unique technologies and know-how for further joint development.

Acquisition of TestLine

We acquire a 100% share in Testline Clinical Diagnostics s.r.o. in Brno, thus expanding our innovative potential as well as our portfolio of human and veterinary laboratory diagnostics products.

BioVendor acquires the German company Immunolab GmbH, thus expanding its portfolio as well as geographical scope.

Cooperation with Siemens

We launch a strategic partnership with Siemens Healthineers. The company’s offer is expanded by the exclusive distribution of laboratory automation.

Slovak branch

BioVendor Slovakia becomes a part of the group.

The R&D division launched its first own ELISA kit – Human Leptin ELISA.

Expansion overseas

We are conquering the New World. BioVendor LLC is founded – distributor of R&D division products for the United States and Canada.

Czech Number One

Joining forces with the German firm DPC Biermann soon made BioVendor the Czech market leader. A phone line shortfall was resolved.

Company Consolidation

The various BioVendor divisions relocated to one address. Joining together development, production and distribution gave us faster and more responsive customer service.

Unexpected growth

Rocket growth of the portfolio expanded to include clinical biochemistry. Invoices were processed by a modern T-602 computer, but salesmen stood in line for the telephone – there was only one in the company.

Establishment of the development division

With the establishment of the BioVendor R&D division, a new phase of the company begins. We open the gates to the development of our own innovative products.

Cornerstone

Dr. Viktor Růžička and his university professor, Boris Uličný, founded the BioVendor company with its office in the Uličný family villa. The whole family helped with the start-up.

Foreign expansion

The establishment of the companies BioVendor GmbH and BioVendor GesmbH creates the first foreign branches in Germany and Austria.
