What you will be working on:

You will be involved in connecting plans and reported figures with the company’s real operations and processes (sales, distribution, development, production), including:

  • Responsibility for preparing documentation for financial consolidation in accordance with Czech accounting standards,  
  • Preparation of regular financial reports for company management, the Board of Directors, and financing banks (monthly, quarterly, annual),  
  • Preparation of management reports on the company’s performance, or the performance of the entire group,  
  • Conducting financial and economic analyses (cost structure, margins, profitability of products, projects, divisions or departments),  
  • Analysis of variances between plan, forecast, and actual results,  
  • Preparation of ad hoc analyses based on management requests,  
  • Cooperation in preparing documentation for annual financial plans and budgets, including their updates,  
  • Preparation of regular reports and communication with company managers and team members (development, production, sales),  
  • Cooperation in setting up new reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) for individual divisions, departments, or projects, including regular reporting and assistance with variance analysis.  

Within the team, you will work closely with the Financial Controlling and Reporting Manager, collaborate with the accounting department during monthly and annual closings, assist in preparing documentation for consolidation audits, and naturally cooperate with all departments across the company as well as with the group’s top management.

What is important to us:  

  • University degree in Economics or a related field,  
  • Experience in financial controlling, reporting, or accounting,  
  • Good knowledge of accounting, financial statements, and Czech accounting standards,
  • Knowledge of financial and economic analysis,  
  • Experience with consolidation and/or financial planning is an advantage,  
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel,  
  • User-level proficiency in MS Office and experience working with ERP and BI systems,  
  • Communicative level of Czech and English,  
  • Team player with the ability to communicate across departments,  
  • Willingness to handle increased workload when required by management or the team,  
  • Active and systematic approach to work, attention to detail,  
  • Willingness to handle sudden increases in workload and constantly move forward.
