What you will be working on:

ViennaLab Diagnostics GmbH, an affiliate of BioVendor, is looking for a QC Laboratory Technician to join our Quality Control laboratory. You will become part of a small, dedicated team within an IVD manufacturing environment, working under a highly regulated quality management system in accordance with ISO 13485:2016 and IVDR requirements.

Your main responsibilities within quality assurance will be:

Quality Control & Testing

• Perform quality control testing with a focus on PCR-based methods. Conduct incoming goods inspections, in-process inspections, final product inspections, and stability studies
• Ensure full compliance with procedural instructions and SOPs. Record experiments and results in line with Good Documentation Practice (GDP) . Support internal and external (third-party) audits.
   

Molecular Biology Methods

• Conventional PCR and RT-PCR.
• Sample preparation. Agarose gel electrophoresis. Reverse hybridisation (advantage). NGS library preparation (advantage).
   

General Laboratory Activities

• Management of samples and reference materials. Storage and inventory management of consumables. Support with equipment qualification.
• Develop efficient testing plans based on rolling forecasts and identify time and cost saving opportunites.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, logistics, quality, finance, R&D) to ensure quality assurance supports organizational goals.

What is important to us:

• Education from a technical college/HTL (chemistry/biochemistry), a degree in biomedical sciences or a related field, or qualification as Biomedizinische(r) AnalytikerIn (BMA).
• Solid understanding of molecular biology.
• Experience in a regulated environment (IVDR, GMP, GLP) is an advantage.
• Basic user knowledge of MS Office and ERP/LIS systems
• English and German language skills (minimum B2 level).
• High level of accuracy and reliability. Team-oriented, well-organized, and self-motivated. Ability to identify problems and propose practical solutions.

The statutory minimum basic salary for this position is €3,146.27 gross/month (full-time equivalent).  Actual salary is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
